it sucks and it’s hard to watch stuff like that now knowing what the result was.
i mean there’s even video footage of French Montana telling Mac to chill because that syrup was gonna fuck him up, and he talked in interviews about warning Mac of what was to come if he kept up that lifestyle. Wiz, among other people, just couldn’t get through to him that he was living a dangerous life. i mean it inevitably cost him his life, unfortunately. Mac had a serious problem that he couldn’t overcome, which obviously goes without saying. I remember our early days back at ID Labs in Pixburgh with E. he basically wished Mac would just smoke weed and get off the pills, cocaine, codeine, dust and whatever other drugs he was doing. Wiz obviously didn’t hate Mac but he couldn’t get through to him about his drug use. It wasn’t really beef it was a tough love type of thing.
